Talk “On the Role of Indigenous Peoples in the Amazon as Allies in the Climate Crisis.”

Christian Cray is an environmental educator and member of the Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature (GARN).
Before moving to Freiburg in 2022, he lived in Ecuador. There he worked with indigenous peoples in the Amazon to strengthen their territorial rights, implementing this with participatory theater work in rainforest communities, among other activities. He also created media and did reporting on the consequences of resource extraction in the Amazon.
He currently works at Caritas International, also on the topic of indigenous peoples’ rights.

The talk is conducted in German.
