Prof. Dr. Weidlich researches and teaches at the Institute for Sustainable Technical Systems (INATECH). In her lecture she will dive into the question of how an industrial country like Germany can (or attempt to) become carbon neutral.

In his lecture Prof. Dr. Neumärker, head of the Freiburg Institute of Basic Income Research, will address important aspects of climate and society in “Lecture on Climate Justice and New Ordoliberalism: The Case for Social Sustainability and Basic Income”.

Panel Discussion

Place: Max-Kade-Auditorium I (Alte Universität)
During this event, five representatives from political, economic, scientific, research and activism areas of expertise will come together to debate “The Responsibility of the Economy in Regards to the Climate Crisis”. In the foreground of the debate is the open exchange of ideas and perspectives, with a reflection on solutions or ideas proposed from the different viewpoints.
